To encourage invasive carp removal on a large scale while protecting native fish species, DNR has established a new invasive carp harvest permit. The free permit allows commercial fisheries to remove silver, grass, and black carp from public waters. Any native fish accidentally caught must be immediately released and be reported to DNR.
