International Overdose Awareness Day is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose. The substance use crisis in America has had a devastating impact on our communities, families, and individuals. It is essential that we equip our communities with the resources and support needed to prevent the fatal consequences of substance misuse and provide access to evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery services. By doing this, we can give those affected by addiction the best chance of finding long-term recovery and hope for the future.

📢 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT — PLEASE READ! 📢

We are SO excited to see the excitement surrounding our NEW Chemical Drop-Off Location! 💚♻️ We know many of you have noticed the new fencing, signage, and address posted on the sign, and we are thrilled that our community is just as excited as we are!

However, we want to make one thing very clear:

🚨 THE CHEMICAL DROP-OFF LOCATION IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. 🚨

Even though the address is now visible, please do not bring chemicals to the location or leave anything outside the gate without a scheduled appointment. This is extremely important for the safety of our community and everyone involved.

📅 Our official Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening Celebration is being planned for sometime in September, and we cannot wait to celebrate this huge milestone with our community! 🎀✂️🎉

Until then, please stay tuned to our page for information regarding appointments, accepted materials, and the official Grand Opening date.

We appreciate everyone’s excitement, patience, and cooperation as we put the finishing touches on this new service for Tipton County! 💚

🧪🚧 DAY 2 & 3 — BIG PROGRESS AT OUR NEW CHEMICAL DROP-OFF LOCATION! 🚧🧪

What a difference a few days — and some incredible partnerships — can make! 💚

Days 2 and 3 of our new Chemical Drop-Off Location build have been all about getting the fencing and signage in place and bringing us one step closer to opening this much-needed resource for our community!

A HUGE thank you to Ford at BlueOval City for their generous donation that made this project possible. Because of their investment in our community, we are able to provide a FREE, safe and responsible way for Tipton County residents to dispose of household chemicals. ♻️

We also cannot say enough about the men from Safe Harbor of Tipton County who came out and worked tirelessly in this Tennessee heat. ☀️🥵 These guys WORKED — and not once did they complain. They showed up, worked together, and kept going until the job was done. We are incredibly thankful for their hard work and willingness to serve our community. 💪💚

This project is a perfect example of what happens when organizations, businesses, programs and people come together for a common purpose. Partnerships make projects like this possible, and when we work together, our entire community benefits.

We’re getting SO CLOSE! 🎉

🎒📚 Another Back to School Bash — TWO days in a row! ✏️🍎

Tonight, we were honored to be a part of Austin Peay Elementary’s School Supply Giveaway! 💙

What made the past few days even more special was seeing so many churches, organizations, and members of our community come together for one purpose — supporting our kids and helping them start the school year prepared and excited! 🙌

It truly takes a village, and Tipton County showed up in a BIG way! ❤️ From donating supplies to volunteering time and lending a helping hand, every person played a part in making sure our students know their community is behind them.

We are so thankful to have been included and to serve alongside so many amazing people. Here’s to a wonderful, successful school year for all of our students, teachers, and staff! 🎒✏️📓

When a community comes together, incredible things happen! 💙

Little did I know that the Back to School Bash that I was attending tonight would not only be to hand out school supplies but to also be attending a church service and I was not disappointed!

Here’s to their 11th year hosting this amazing event for the community and my 1st of many!

🚧💚 DAY 1: BUILDING SOMETHING BIG FOR TIPTON COUNTY! 💚🚧

Today officially kicked off Day 1 of building our NEW Chemical Drop-Off location! 🎉♻️

And one of the best parts? This service will be completely FREE to our community! 🙌💚 Providing Tipton County residents with a safe, convenient, and FREE way to properly dispose of household chemicals is exactly what this project is all about.

This project would not be possible without some incredible community partners.

💙 A HUGE thank you to Ford at BlueOval City for partnering with Keep Tipton County Beautiful and for the generous donation that made this new location possible. Their investment in our community is helping us create a safer, more accessible place for Tipton County residents to properly dispose of household chemicals.

🚜 We also want to give a BIG thank you to Tipton County Public Works for helping us get the site ready! They knocked out the holes and provided the dirt work needed to get this project moving. We are incredibly thankful for departments that are always willing to step in, lend a hand, and help us get the job done!

💪 And we cannot say enough about the men from Safe Harbor of Tipton County who volunteered their time and labor today. These men absolutely BUSTED THEIR TAILS in this heat! ☀️🥵 They showed up ready to work, worked hard all day, and are committed to staying with us until the job is DONE. That kind of dedication deserves some serious recognition! 👏👏👏

This is what community partnership looks like — organizations coming together, people rolling up their sleeves, and everyone working toward making Tipton County cleaner, safer, and more beautiful. 💚

We’re only on DAY 1, and we can’t wait to show you the finished product!

🧡💙 RIDING FOR A PURPOSE. SUPPORTING RECOVERY. STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITY. 💙🧡

Keep Tipton County Beautiful is proud to be attending the Safe Harbor Ride for Recovery TODAY, August 8th until 3pm! 🏍️

This event is about so much more than motorcycles—it’s about hope, healing, second chances, and reminding people in recovery that they do not have to walk this road alone. We’re honored to stand alongside Safe Harbor of Tipton County, Tipton Prevents, Sons in Obedience Motorcycle Ministry, Bumpus Harley-Davidson, and everyone coming together to support recovery in our community.

The ride will make its way from Bumpus Harley-Davidson in Memphis to Safe Harbor in Tipton County, where the day continues with family fun, live music, a bike & car show, food, raffles, giveaways, and more!

🌱 At Keep Tipton County Beautiful, our mission is about more than picking up litter. It’s about people, partnerships, pride, and building a community where everyone has the opportunity for a fresh start.
