This is such an awesome idea!

Fun project for a local artist! 🎨 NYC's Department of Sanitation is looking for artists who want to paint murals on their garbage trucks.

The 'Trucks of Art' program is a zero-waste challenge. All artists will use household paint that is no longer wanted, to keep it from going into landfills.

Thank you, all of you, who have liked and shared this page.
Addressing some comments....yes, I realize locals litter as well.
However...many of the things I see around the square are from bloodbags and the tags from daylight rings.
Our LONGTERM residents are quite discrete of their consumption of blood and their use of spelled daylight jewelry. 😏
I'm just asking that the TRAVELERS to our lovely town be just as careful with their disposal of these items.

Mystic Falls put on a wonderful show for the Fourth of July. Everyone clearly appreciated it.
Except they left all of this garbage behind.
I tried to clean up as much as I could on my own. The town workers were AMAIZING. But I will never understand how people can love a place and then leave garbage everywhere.

I really want to thank EVERYONE yesterday that did their best to put their garbage in the garbage cans around town! They were overflowing and stacked. I KNOW! We had so many people more than usual. I've already mentioned that we need more bins in town, so I'm working on it! Especially for special events.
I'd also like to thank Mystic Grill for sending out the best employee to deal with the overflowing (certainly not in their job description!) AND the woman who got out of line to meet Zach Roerig in order to assist him. It made my heart happy to see! ❤️

There have been many ... travelers... to Mystic Falls in the past few years. Please keep in mind that SOME of our residents, will be around for a VERY long time... so we ask that you help to Please Keep Mystic Falls Clean.
