What a tremendous day at our In the Trenches Offensive & Defensive Line Clinic with Coach Mike Storms. The players were outstanding — great effort, great attitude, and a willingness to learn the details that win games at the line of scrimmage.

Coach Storms brought incredible energy and knowledge, teaching hand combat, leverage, balance, footwork, and the mentality it takes to play in the trenches. These young men got better today — not just physically, but mentally — learning discipline, technique, and toughness.

This is what GB2 Football is all about — developing the player, the person, and the competitor.

Thank you to Coach Storms for investing in these athletes and thank you to all the players who showed up ready to work.

Heavenly Happy Birthday, Robert.

Today we celebrate you the same way you always celebrated us.

In the years after our playing days at LSU, out of nowhere, you would pop up on Facebook wishing one of your old Tiger brothers a happy birthday. No agenda. No spotlight on yourself. Just genuine love and recognition. And every single time, it meant something. It wasn’t just a post — it was Robert being Robert.

You had a way of making people feel seen. Valued. Remembered.

When you passed a couple of years ago, we didn’t just lose a former teammate. We lost a good one. A really good one. The kind of man who shows up in small ways that make a big difference. The kind of friend who becomes a shining light on some of the darkest days.

That light still shines.

Today, I honor you the way you honored so many of us — with gratitude, respect, and brotherhood. Your impact didn’t end with football. It lives on in the way you made people feel.

Heaven gained a good one, my friend.
