Our Annual Awards Banquet was held this past Tuesday at the Covina Woman’s Club. We were honored to spend the evening with such strong and inspiring women, celebrating their achievements and their unwavering commitment to building brighter futures through education and perseverance.
This meaningful event recognized high school girls who have overcome tremendous life challenges yet remain determined to pursue higher education. It also honored women who serve as the primary providers for their families and are working diligently to gain the skills and education needed to enhance their employment opportunities.
This year, we were proud to introduce a new award in honor of Marlisse Reina. Marlisse inspired those around her to live life to the fullest, and this grant will support young women who embody that same spirit and determination.
Their stories moved us, their strength inspired us, and their dreams reminded us why we do this work. We are beyond proud to support and uplift these incredible women as they continue to chase their goals and change the narrative—for themselves and for generations to come!
