Region 602 recognizes the current heatwave and understands you may have questions about training this week. Our region does not cancel trainings due to heat, but instead leaves the decision to the discretion of the coaches and parents. We do encourage those that choose training in the heat to provide extra rest periods and water breaks. Hydration is key in this weather. If you are uncomfortable sending your child to practice in the heat, just communicate that with your coach. We support the decisions the coaches make for their teams and the parents make for their players. Your health and safety is important to us, so please make the decision that best fits you and your family…and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 💦
