On behalf of the entire ‘Tis The Season organization, we would like to extend our congratulations and best wishes to Chief Frank Brown on his retirement.

Thank you for 49 years of distinguished service to our community and special thanks for your years of support for our organization.

Your coordination and dedication for our annual ‘Firefighter Boot Day’ is much appreciated and is a huge reason for the success of our organization and our ability to help those less fortunate in our community.

Thank you again for all that you do and all that we know you will continue to do for our town.

CHALLENGE ISSUED!!

We have an anonymous donor willing to match up to $1,000 in total donations to Tis The Season between now and December 3.

Here is the deal: The donor will match total donations up to $1000 that are made by members of 🎃 Coventry, RI; Biggest Town in The Smallest State using our Venmo QR code (below) between now and December 3.

Donations can be made in any amount. With more than 40,000 members on this page, if even 3% made just a $1 contribution we would reach the goal.

Help us knock this challenge out of the park and help those less fortunate this holiday season and consider a small donation.

If you are looking to help a Coventry family in need this Christmas, PLEASE READ.

The Tis The Season organization in conjunction with the Coventry Department of Human Services is looking for individuals, families, businesses and/or organizations who would like to help those who are less fortunate.

Through our ‘Adopt A Family’ program, you can help those in need right here in Coventry. Families are identified and vetted by Human Services to appropriately identify needs

If you are interested, please DM me and I can put you in touch with the right person or contact Coventry Human Services directly at 822-9175 and ask about participating in the Adopt A Family program.

We have our grand total for 2022!

THANK YOU to everyone who contributed during our annual Firefighter Boot Day. Despite the inflationary issues we are all facing, the spirit of giving came through for those in need.

Our 2022 total collection was….

$13,893.65

As always, 100% of funds collected will go directly to those in need in Coventry & West Greenwich.

A MAJOR ‘THANK YOU’ to the firefighters of Coventry and West Greenwich for stepping up for the umpteenth time for our annual Tis The Season ‘Fill The Boot’ Drive.

This event is our single biggest fundraiser of the year and would simply not be possible without their help and support. With a need that is greater this year than in recent years due to the economic climate, we thank them for coming through for us again.

Their commitment to our organization and our communities is clear, particularly when you consider several of them temporarily went without pay for 2 weeks recenmtu, yet still stood a post today to collect money for others who are in need.

Thank you to all who participated today! We will be publishing our total collection on Monday once it is tallied at the bank.
