Mark your calendars and join us as the The Grand Lodge of AF & AM of North Carolina and Saint John's Lodge No. 3 AF&AM celebrate the anniversary of the laying of our original cornerstone in 1801.
St. John's No. 3's building, originally called New Bern Masons' Hall, is one of the oldest surviving Masonic buildings in America. During this 250th anniversary year of our nation, we will commemorate the 225th anniversary of the cornerstone laying with an appropriate ceremony.
The event will feature a special Masonic re-dedication ceremony conducted by the Grand Master of Masons in North Carolina, with support from Grand Lodge Officers.
Learn about the New Bern Masonic Theatre Historic Preservation Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the building, including the addition of new venue space.
๐ท Lunch will be served after the ceremony by Craven Chapter No. 129 - Order of the Eastern Star
