A little greenhouse visit…
Yesterday, I snuck in, potted a few starts, and snuck back out!
One of the things I love about our Coupeville Garden Club greenhouse is there is no required time commitment. Come when you can, get involved in whatever way works for you, and enjoy the weekly Tuesday gatherings.
This time of year, we are starting cuttings from members’ gardens and getting our geraniums potted up. The racks are looking pretty bare right now, but it is amazing to watch the transformation over the coming weeks — from nearly empty shelves to plants everywhere, with hardly room for one more!
But what stood out to me most yesterday was not the plants. It was the people. The conversations, the little side chats, and members recognizing one another for the things they do for our club. People care about each other, and they care about the plants growing here. There is something pretty special about that.

We gather Tuesdays, typically from 9:30–11:30 a.m., at the greenhouse at Coupeville High School.
You do not have to commit to hours every week. Just come spend some time with us, get your hands in the soil, and see what grows — in the greenhouse and among the friendships.
