Council Rod & Gun Club

We offer trap with a covered trap shelter along with 25 yd, 50 yd, and100/200 yd rifle and pistol ranges, each with covered benches and are updating our archery range. Memberships can be purchased at M&W Market in Council for $30 per calendar year for you and your dependents. k Agreement on the back side of the form, you will be given the gate code allowing you entry. Membership allows you to use the range any daytime hours unless we are closed for maintenance or sanctioned shoots. We also have many activities that are open to the public such as our weekly Trap shoots, monthly Cowboy Action Shooting events, occasional Meat Shoots, and various classes. Council Rod and Gun Club Range Rules
1. Absolutely no alcohol or alcoholic beverages are allowed on range property.
2. The Rangemaster is in charge of all range activities.
3. The Rangemaster has the authority to enforce all range rules and eject or remove anyone from range property for non-compliance.
4. All basic firearm safety rules must be observed while on range property.
5. All fi****ms must remain unloaded with actions open when not actively firing.
6. No discharging of fi****ms except on the firing line.
7. Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times.
8. No tracers, high explosive, incendiary or other special ammunition is allowed.
9. Shooters are required to collect spent brass, used targets and trash.
10. No horseplay of any type is allowed on range property.
11. No hunting on range property.
13. All pets must be leashed or confined at all times.
14. All children must be strictly supervised by a parent or guardian.
