As temperatures rise, many families in Council Bluffs struggle to stay safe without adequate cooling at home. Through June 6, Westlake Ace Hardware and The Salvation Army are partnering for their annual Fan Drive — helping provide box fans to neighbors in need.

Customers can simply round up their purchases at the participating Westlake Ace Hardware store in Council Bluffs, with all funds staying local to purchase fans distributed by The Salvation Army.

In 2025, generous donations in Council Bluffs helped provide 30 fans to local individuals and families in need. Since 2012, the Fan Drive has grown to more than 210 Ace stores nationwide, providing over 70,000 fans through more than $1 million raised.

This Friday is world day of prayer! We celebrated tonight during Kids club! Look how much fun they had!!

We had prayer suitcases filled with objects that reminded us of things to pray for, and each bag had an assortment of country names of the 134 countries that we serve in!
All 134 countries got prayed over! And we made boats that float and a prayer chain!
If you have a prayer request you’d like to have included on our prayer chain feel free to share below! We want to coat our community in prayer!
