Grant Spotlight ✨ Nebraska Diaper Bank

IWF recently awarded a $10,000 grant to Nebraska Diaper Bank to provide diapers to families in need across southwest Iowa.

Diapers are a basic necessity, but for many families, they're also a significant financial burden. This investment helps ensure that young children in our region have access to one of life's most essential needs, giving families one less thing to worry about and one more reason to thrive.

Grant Spotlight ✨ Together

Iowa West Foundation awarded $55,000 to Together to support counseling services that help individuals and families achieve and maintain housing stability.

For many people, stable housing requires more than financial assistance, it takes guidance, advocacy, and support to navigate complex systems.

Together Inc. provides that critical counseling to help community members stay housed and build long-term stability.

🐷A 5K run, a parade through downtown, food vendors, bounce houses, a foam party, kids' games, Pig Bingo (wait, what?) and the opening of a 1975 time capsule. 300 people came together in Minden, Iowa for a full day of community celebration.

Multiple generations gathered to enjoy the festivities and reflect on how far their community has come.

An Iowa West Belonging Grant helped provide tents, tables, and seating that kept the gathering comfortable and welcoming throughout the day.
