This month was all about fire arms and fire arm safety. The boys and leaders had a great time in fellowship regardless of the heat.

This month was hike it out and boy did they! It may have been 103 degrees today but these boys and leaders didn’t let it stop them from enjoying God’s beauty!

This month was a small group, but we had Zayden join, so he got his 1st time dog tag.

Ephesians 5:15 “Therefore be careful how you walk, as unwise men but as wise.”

This month was all about making fishers of men and Brayden did that, he brought his friend Jayden with him and Jayden decided to get baptized in the lake.

We also had a a few new boys join so they got their first time dog tags. Korbin, Jayden, Issac, Zane and Brayden D.

This month’s KOZ was about service crafts. The boys got to learn how to use different tools while building a picnic table. And learning the importance of Mathew 9:37-38 “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

This month we honor all the leaders who give their time and dedication to help boys grow into Godly men through KOZ.

Kris, Travis, Mitchell, Richard, Micheal and Erin all earned their two year coins, while Ken earned his 1 year coin.

Thank you to these men for stepping up to the plate for our boys!

This month was all about living off the land.
The boys tried to catch some fish to clean and possibly eat despite the cold and wind, but nothing was biting.
They learned how to make pine needle tea and each boy drank some. They found some interesting bones on the property.

Thank you to some kinds folks they also had a few flags that needed retired, so they learned all about how to do that and the process and respect that entails.

This month was all about your gear. The boys went to bass pro and set up teams. They had to build a survival kit and the best team got gift cards to bass pro, then they went back to the church and went over knife sharpening. Pastor Erin let each boy pick out a bass pro hat as well.

The boys kicked of the new year of KOZ with a nice brisk hike at Vincent Bluff state preserve in 8 degrees weather, then back to the church to learn about first aid.
