Thank you Dr. Amber Strohbehn and everyone at Valley View Veterinary Clinic for taking such good care of our Rufus Eugene.
We finally had his final 3 teeth removed this week.

Jessica Jay Ríos and Kathy Fox Humann saved our boy after flooding in Texas several years ago.

Denise sent an update.... we are so happy to share with all of you.

Rufus is back, better than ever! I'd been worried since he came home on Tuesday because his appetite was off and he acted paranoid about everything. As the pain meds wore off, he improved but today he's been playing like a kitten non- stop for over an hour, longer than he's ever done and has come running for attention.🥰

He "killed" several toy mice and hurtled around the apartment using juice bottle lids like hockey pucks for most of the afternoon but has been snoozing on my lap all evening (between meals, of course)! I've never seen him like this and it's wonderful!

Rufus was not feeling well Thursday. He wasn't eating and was acting like he did about a year ago. Denise called so we could get him to vet before he got too bad. He started amoxicillin Friday and by Saturday evening his temperature was back to normal and he is eating, drinking, and using the litter box. He is hanging out with me until he is finished with his medication.
Glad he feels better and feel like we caught whatever was going on with him early.

Our friends at Community Cats of Omaha had someone set fire to their colony shelters yesterday. All kitties have been accounted for and are being trapped and relocated to a safe location.
If any of you want to help them out, they have listed ways to help on their FB page.
It is hard to believe anyone could be so cruel.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
