We introduced Peanut and Gus to you a few weeks ago after they lost their family. Not surprising, they received no apps. We get it, an elderly duo is going to be hard to find a home who will want both of them. But, we will keep trying.
They recently had a vet visit and for their age, Peanut 10, Gus 12, they are in great shape. Like most of us, they need to lose a few pounds, both of them are already starting to slim down. They both need dentals, which they are getting tomorrow. They have their normal stiff joints like a lot of us do past a certain age. Short walks will help keep them loose.
Their foster mom says they are two of the easiest dogs. Peanut loves to sit on the couch next to you for snuggle time. But, she isn’t demanding. She looks at you with those eyes and her little tongue sticking out. Very hard to resist petting her.
Gus likes to observe things from afar. He is perfectly content snoozing on a bed or crate nearby. He isn’t shy at all, he loves to be petted and soak in as much love as possible.
These two are very obedient and eager to please. They will add so much to your life if you give them a chance. All they want is love, and they will return it tenfold.
