Lake Manawa Sailing Association

Lake Manawa Sailing Association LMSA is a non-profit organization promoting sailing on Lake Manawa. The club provides annual memberships and boat parking for sailors.

Sailing means many different things to our many members. Some view it as an excellent opportunity to spend “family time”, while others may view it from a social perspective or even from a competitive angle. With the sailing season being six months long – May to October – having fun on the water becomes the primary focus.

Ahoy LMSA Members,

Join us for the 2nd Annual LMSA Poker Sail.
Sunday, July 27th 12-?pm

Event schedule:
• Check in - 12-1pm
• Any wind powered vessel is welcome to participate
• Skipper's meeting - 1:15-1:45pm
• Poker Sail - 2-4pm (participants can start when they're ready)
• All participants will sail to 5 stations on the lake to acquire their playing cards and then return to the dock. Once, they've returned to the dock they'll have an opportunity to obtain 1 more playing card. Best 5 card hand wins! In case of a tie high card wins.
