LOLUG - Lincoln/Omaha LEGO User Group The Lincoln and Omaha LEGO User Group (LOLUG) is a community of adult LEGO enthusiasts who enjoy interacting with other LEGO Fans!

Join us for monthly meetings and amazing LEGO events! LOLUG, The Lincoln Omaha LEGO User Group, is a group of Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) founded in 2012. LOLUG's goal as a group is to enjoy and promote the LEGO hobby for the adult fan. We accomplish this by organizing and attending monthly club meetings, where members are encouraged to bring creations they have finished or are working on, and to s

hare ideas about their projects past, present and future. In addition LOLUG organizes monthly activities such as set drafts, build competitions and other LEGO challenges. We welcome people with interest in every aspect of LEGO building, and our current membership includes builders and collectors of nearly every theme. We seek to promote the hobby in the community through the organization of and participation in shows open to the public in the Lincoln/Omaha area. Monthly meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month and alternate between Lincoln and Omaha. If you are interested in finding out more about us, please like our page to keep updated! This World Play Day, 14 Recognized LEGO User Groups (RLUGs) from around the world are coming together to inspire people of all ages to rediscover the joy of hands-on creativity through the simple act of building with LEGO bricks. LOLUG - Lincoln/Omaha LEGO User Group is so excited we are one of the groups to get to help celebrate this global event!

From June 1–11, participating communities will host public building experiences designed to encourage brick-in-hand play and inspire people everywhere to NEVER STOP PLAYING.

Using thousands of LEGO bricks, visitors will have the opportunity to create, experiment, and showcase their own unique creations in welcoming public spaces.

The events are built around a simple idea: play isn't something we leave behind as we grow older. Play fuels creativity, strengthens connections, encourages learning, and helps us imagine new possibilities. This World Play Day, communities around the world will come together to demonstrate that everyone can benefit from making time to play.

Each participating RLUG will host a free-build activities featuring monochrome LEGO bricks, creating an engaging and accessible experience for builders of all ages and skill levels. The resulting creations will serve as a visual celebration of imagination, creativity, and community!

LOLUG - Lincoln/Omaha LEGO User Group will hold 2 events during this time! We will be at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum during their Math Alive Members Night event on Tuesday, June 2nd.
