In the classrooms we are working on OSHA safety training, learning how to be safe in a work space to further be able to follow safety procedures, prevent accidents and to protect yourself and others.

The multimeter certification takes on circuit boards, battery voltage, wire harnesses, and being able to use this skill in all technology fields.

Back at it again with another week of bootcamps with Career Edvantage!

This week we have a group of students firing up semi trucks, learning how to take on bigger challenges with auto mechanics. What a cool experience!

HVAC (heating,ventilation and air conditioning) is learning about boilers, furnaces, heating and cooling systems etc.

The Health Services department is working with one another to draw bloodwork from manikins and checking vital signs.

Shoutout to CHI Mercy and Methodist Jennie Edmundson to giving the opportunity to these students to getting their CNAs!

Check out what is going on with this weeks boots camps!

We have an amazing CPR boot camp where a group of girls teamed up to learn life-saving skills! Working and learning hard to take that next step, ready to save lives. An inspiration of teamwork in action!

In the welding room, students Trenity and Reilynn claim they like to get their hands dirty and show the boys who’s boss! Everyone is lighting the room with skill and determination. Not only are they building up metal, but new friendships and strengths.

Rolling over to Transportation, don’t be afraid if you see a rolling tire! Over here we are working on shocks & suspension, basic repairs and changing water pumps. This crew loves what they do, embracing the nice community. If you like getting your hands dirty and are like one of our students Jackson who loves the energy drinks, both this course and the vending machine near by will provide both!
