Graduation season is upon us all, and at CEV we couldn’t be more proud of our Iowa Western Career EdVantage graduates! 🎓

Celebrating success! 👏

Over the past year, 56 students have become alumni of Career EdVantage. And it takes a lot to earn that alumni status. From weekly career coaching sessions, to monthly professional development workshops; through a variety of career exploration and immersion activities alongside classes, these students participate in CEV for four to six years. (And we are SO glad to have them!)

Every piece of this matters, and it all comes together. These young people learn critical skills needed for successful employment, they earn the hard skills required for their intended careers, and they grow into incredible young professionals.
They start their young adulthood without the financial burden that so often accompanies this stage, and they have the support of CEV and their CEV Coach to navigate every step.

Last night, 26 of these incredible alum gathered for a celebration!
Degrees earned such as registered nurse, diesel technology, culinary, veterinarian technician, computer science, electrical engineering, automotive technology, construction, media studies, aviation maintenance technology. Diplomas and certificates earned such as welding, HVAC, dog grooming, plumbing, and numerous OSHA.

Now they are off and running in their full-time careers and here are some of the great places they work:
