The Council Bluffs Kennel Club is sad to announce the passing of one of our club founders, Max Hurd.

Max was one of the pioneers of the Council Bluffs Kennel Club and was one of our biggest champions. There is no doubt that we wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for the effort, heart, and hard work of Max.

Thank you for everything, Max. Rest in peace 🐾💙

We are excited to announce that the Afghan Hound Club Of Omaha is once again joining the 2025 Council Bluffs Kennel Club Dog Show!

We have partnered with the Afghan Hound Club of Omaha for many years and always enjoy seeing the owner/handlers and their dogs time and time again.

We love being able to support our friends at the Council Bluffs Fire Department, who are always on the front line rescuing our furry friends and family in times of need.

The Council Bluffs Kennel Club presented seven pet resuscitation kits to the Council Bluffs Fire Department.
