Rugs for Rescue We turn upcycled bed sheets into crochet rag rugs. 100% of sales are donated to animal rescue organizations.

Unless otherwise specified, all rugs measure approximately 30" long and 20” wide and cost $25.

It always amazes me how beautiful (to me) a rug turns out. It’s been slow getting established with rescues in my new location, but I’m hopeful. All money earned from rug sales goes directly to a local rescue.

Just because I haven’t posted in a while doesnt mean I’m not producing rugs. Sold two this weekend and 5 before that.
Decided since everything else has gone up in price it was time to increase rug prices too. At $25/rug, that just means that much more for rescues. In the last two weeks rug money
(all $25/rug) has been sent to “Promise 4 Paws” in Council Bluffs, “All Points West GSP” in Denver and “Randy’s Rescue” in O’Fallon, IL.

Update on Erie trip:
I was able to visit friends, check out the old homestead, hit the beach. But the main reason for the trip was to do Rugs for Rescue work. I left 45 rugs in PA; giving to my favorite rescues: Canine Partners Program Inc, Erie Animal Network, and ANNA Shelter.
I brought home sheets and the first thing I did upon return to Iowa was to start making more rugs. I’m sure my neighbors wonder why I have so many sheets hanging out to dry andwhat is making all the ripping noises.
Greta is an active participant in the whole process, even checking out the first rug to restock my inventory. Thank you Erie for being such great supporters.

I needed someone in my life to love, who would love me back, unconditionally. Someone to be by my side through thick and thin. Someone to share adventures, tears and kisses. Someone who depends on me as much as I depend on them.
This afternoon I picked up my life partner from Dakota Dachshund Rescue. Meet Greta, formally known as Eve. We are immediate buddies. Can’t wait to see where life takes us.
