On Sunday afternoon, April 19th, 51 friends and family gathered to support 19 students from Pastor Timothy Frank's studio for their Spring Recital.

The students played the pipe organ, piano, and trumpet. After the recital, they all enjoyed Fellowship while having a snack in the churchundercroft served by The St. Paul's Hospitality Team and Music Conservatory Board. Thank you again to everyone attending today's recital.

On Saturday April 18, 2026, Pr. Sherrill went down to Our Saviour in Kansas City, KS to kick them off as church #2 this year, to start in the conservatory launch program!

Thank you to all of the wonderful people we met. We are so excited to get them started on coaching cadences with their Conservatory Coach, Pr. Sherrill. Look out for their launch event this fall!

If you have one teacher, one student, one space, and one instrument, you can start raising up the next generation of church musicians.

But why do we do it?

Tonight, David's Harp new Director of Resources, Dr. Martin Dicke, is hosting a live training to answer exactly that. He’ll be exploring 10 reasons we must teach music in our parishes, and why every scale and every hymn shapes hearts for service.

This live event kicks off our brand-new Formation Series, an EXCLUSIVE training benefit for the DH Family's Premium Subscribers and Conservatory Partners.

What happens when a church decides to grow its own musicians?

Yesterday at St. Paul's in Council Bluffs, IA, the Divine Service was completely accompanied and led by teenagers. From a 14-year-old organist to a 10-year-old cantor, these students are actively serving the Church through music.

This is the vision of the parish-based music conservatory. It’s about taking the students in your congregation and giving them a clear pathway to become confident church musicians.

Want to see how to make this a reality in your congregation? Join the David's Harp community. We’ll show you the exact model to start raising up musicians in your parish, for your parish.
