Our super special guest was one of our high school teams, The Allen Keys!! Fresh off of their Saturday victory, we wanted to celebrate their accomplishments. They were so helpful with our middle school students! It was an energized practice for sure 🤩

We’re having great practices in the lab! The kids are engaged, overcoming challenges, and taking on tasks outside their comfort zones. What a great group of kids.

Word in the lab is some special guests will be joining us next Monday! Stay tuned 🤩

Join Junior Lynx Robotics for our fall fundraiser: a chili feed!

Don’t worry about cooking; we'll have chili, cornbread, and all the fixins ready for you! Choose from a meat or vegetarian option. There will also be a bake sale, raffle baskets, face painting, STEM activities for the kids, and an exclusive robotics lab tour so you can see where the magic happens.

Purchase tickets at https://givebutter.com/chilifeed or scan the QR code. Tickets for the chili feed and raffle can be purchased at the door if necessary.

Each ticket purchased brings us closer to our vision: providing a barrier-free, entry-level experience for middle school students beginning in robotics, as well as a launching pad for seasoned students looking to continue robotics in high school.

See you soon!

📣 Sponsor Shout-out! 📣

Does robotics practice even begin before the snacks come out? Some would argue it does not (even a coach or two agrees 😉). Thank you to First Interstate Bank for being our Battery Boost Sponsor and providing snacks for half of our season.

When setting up our non-profit, First Interstate Bank was recommended to us for our banking needs. They have a branch right here in Council Bluffs, and their customer service is TOP NOTCH. We are lucky to have a STEM-supporting sponsor right down the street from the robotics lab.

Own a business, or have a business in mind, that could help meet our snack-fueling needs for the second half of the season? Message us or email [email protected] for more information!
