I know this isn’t food related, but We have a local family in desperate need of a washer and dryer…especially before school starts. Do you know of anyone that is replacing theirs that may want to donate or offer at a reasonable cost for them?

So…it’s that time of year! Your Garden is producing a bumper crop, you’ve exhausted friends and neighbors as a distribution option. You’ve left cucumbers in random people’s mailboxes, the tomatoes on their back steps, let’s not talk about where you left all the Zucchini, and you STILL have fresh produce needing a new home.

Just throwing this out there…The pantry is open this Thursday, the 13th and again on the 27th. If you would like to stop by with some extra goodies we’d be happy to help! Our guests would appreciate all your hard work, energy, and generosity. Nothing beats fresh, locally grown, produce.

If you would like to donate there are several options!

✳️Bring your donation to the parade and we will collect it along the way.
✳️ Drop it off at the Pantry between 12:00-5:00
✳️ Drop off at the Lion’s Club tent near the Fire Department.

Thank you so much for always supporting your friend’s & neighbors! We can’t do this without you.

We are so grateful for these students and their mentors! This is the bounty from the Lakeview Student Council food drive! It is always a good thing to teach our young to think bigger than themselves. ❤️

There is a direct correlation between food insecurity and what is called “Hygiene Poverty”. This just means if a person does not have enough resources for food they may likely not have enough for basic Hygiene items. Toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, body wash, laundry soap, etc… When you are hungry, and have to chose between food and something else, Hygiene becomes a want instead of what it is…a need.

Although our priority is food, we are always trying to fill that gap as well. That’s why it is so meaningful to have the Mission Possible project at Christ Lutheran Church Cottonwood MN create these Diginity Bags for our guests. We so appreciate them thinking about our guest’s personal human diginity. It is every bit as important to feed the spirit as well as the stomach. Thank you again! ❤️

What a beautiful act of service this is. The Quilters at Christ Lutheran Church Cottonwood MN have created and donated these quilts to the families served by the Pantry. We are so excited to let each family choose a new quilt.

There is so much time and effort involved in making these, it is hard to find all the words to say THANK YOU! Our families will certainly appreciate the warmth they will bring.

Thank you again for making something so special for our families.
