Check out this amazing guide to accessible travel written by Amy Tarpein, a fabulous Lissencephaly mom!!!
TARGET. THIS IS ANOTHER LEVEL OF SURREAL.
Walmart was wild.
Barnes & Noble was emotional.
But Target… Target is the place where moms go to breathe, reset, wander aisles for therapy, and accidentally spend $142 on things they didn’t know they needed.
And this morning, I woke up to the news that my book is officially available online at Target, with shelves coming soon and it knocked the wind out of me in the best way.
This is the kind of milestone that hits different because it’s not just distribution it’s belonging.
I don’t have the words for what it feels like to be a single mom who wrote through hospital nights, road trips, advocacy battles, and tiny pockets of borrowed time and to see that work land somewhere this iconic. Somewhere that feels like home to so many of us.
This isn’t just a milestone.
It’s a reminder that our stories belong in the world
in the bright red carts, in the hands of families who need hope, in the aisles.
To everyone who has cheered, shared, preordered, believed thank you.
We’re just getting started.
