📚 Community in Action at the Cottonwood Library 🎨

One of the highlights of our VVL Community Engagement Day was our visit to the Cottonwood Library, where we enjoyed a guided tour, participated in a fun youth craft project, and learned more about the library’s incredible programs that inspire creativity and lifelong learning.

To conclude the day, the VVL Class of 19 and APS was proud to donate a large collection of craft supplies to the Cottonwood Library, helping support future educational and creative opportunities for local youth.

A heartfelt thank you to the library staff for welcoming us and for the important work you do to serve our community. We are grateful to play a small part in supporting the next generation and investing in their future. 💙

🌟 VVL Community Engagement Day – Youth Development & Education 🌟

Our VVL Community Engagement Day was an inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and community connection as we explored the many ways our community is investing in the next generation.

We were honored to begin the day with presentations from Dr. Steven King, Yavapai County Superintendent of Schools, who shared insights on the importance of education, and the National Park Service, who introduced their 2026 Summer Interns and highlighted youth opportunities like the Every Kid Outdoors initiative.

Throughout the day, our class had the opportunity to connect with community partners, learn about programs that support local youth, and see firsthand the impact these organizations have on future generations.

Thank you to our hosts, Jennifer Somit and Leila Glass, our speakers, and all of our community partners for making this meaningful day possible. Stay tuned for more highlights from our visit to the Cottonwood Library! 💙
