Thanks for all of the support with the past and upcoming vet visits: there are A LOT!

If you would like to sponsor a spay or neuter, please reach out through here or text (830-613-4227).

I am going to be sporadically posting cats (mostly mamas and older kittens now of age) that desperately need spay and neuter so they can be freely in general pop and placed for adoption!

Don’t forget Katt has surgery with Burnet Vet Clinic TOMORROW 10/15. If you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated! You can also donate directly to our account at Burnet Vet Clinic! We posted a couple of posts down more about Katt and her surgery!

And in honor of Day 13,539 of kitten season 2026:

Below is an oldie but a goodie— very informative video on aging and caring for kittens from newborn-8 weeks old! I love the Kitten Lady because she explains each step in a way that makes sense to us commoners!

In this adorable and information-packed video, I'll teach you every...

URGENT!! WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP!

WE HAVE A FEW CATS WITH MEDICAL EMERGENCIES! PLEASE HELP US FUND THEIR CARE!

The unexpected costs really hit hard, especially when there are so many mamas to get fixed and bundles of kittens who need the whole “she-bang”! Katt and Juno are our top 2 priorities right now and we really need help to pay for the procedures they will need to get healthy!

Meet Juno.

Juno is a sweet girl who has been getting noticeably larger since early summer, according to her previous owners. We do not yet know whether she is spayed, and we do not have a diagnosis yet—but her swollen abdomen makes us very concerned about pyometra.

Pyometra is a serious bacterial infection of the uterus. It can make a cat extremely sick very quickly and can become fatal without prompt veterinary treatment. It often requires emergency surgery.

Juno will be seen by Dr. Krobot for her initial exam and diagnostics. Depending on what is found, she may need surgery as well.

Please help us get Juno the answers and care she needs. Donations can be made directly to Dr. Krobot’s office for That’s My Kitty Animal Rescue & Sanctuary

Katt needs a little help.

Katt is one of our senior girls and has always been very independent—she comes around when she feels like it, loves affection on her own terms, and does not always allow us to handle her closely.

She has had a limp for a while, but when we were finally able to get a good look at her foot, we found that it is badly damaged and appears to have been broken for some time. Katt has been incredibly stoic and has done her best to carry on, but she deserves relief.

She is scheduled for surgery with Dr. McBride later this month. We are trying to raise the funds to cover her care and give this sweet senior girl the chance to walk comfortably again.

As an organization who take in neonates… this information is vital in understanding (or trying to) what you’re dealing with when caring for littlest ones.

It’s hard. It’s heart-breaking. Blood, sweat and tears are often shed and not necessarily in that order.

But the successes and the triumphs… the lives you are able to save… there are celebrations and even if we don’t shout it from the rooftops— every neonate, every little bottle baby, every single kitten that we save and makes it to that fantastic 6 month mark… even if we don’t have many people to share the success with who would understand… the feeling that it gives deep inside your heart and soul makes it all worth it.

All the sweat.
All the blood.
All the tears.
All the sleepless nights in front of an incubator or heating pad, willing the kitten to fight as hard as you are fighting.

If you can save even one animal from a tragic ending… even if you have to deal with tremendous loss just to save that one..single..solitary.. precious life.. it gives you a whole new experience and feeling… and with that feeling you muster the energy to intake kittens and do it all over again.

Every single day.
Night after night.
Knowing loss comes so much more often than not when you’re getting kittens from unknown places, health conditions and circumstances.

Keep fighting the good fight.

You can’t save them all, but you can save some. ♥️

Three tiny orange babies arrived today—cold, very hungry, and ready to settle in. 🧡🧡🧡 We’re so grateful to the kind soul who rescued them and got them to us.

These photos show just a handful of the cats we’ve taken in over the past couple of weeks. There are many more you don’t see here! I’ve bottle fed dozens of babies, and it feels like every time one is weaned, three more show up. 🍼

Food donations are especially needed right now. Monetary donations help cover vet care, vaccines, and the many basics new kittens need when they arrive with no medical history or supplies. Thank you for continuing to show up for them and for us. Every bit helps keep the bowls full and the babies cared for.

Looking to adopt? We have kittens, adults, seniors, and cats with disabilities—and every personality in between. Want a cat with three feet? We’ve got one! One eye? Come meet them. Completely blind? Yeppers, we have a couple of those, too. Some are living with injuries caused by abuse, and they deserve loving homes just as much as anyone else. Every one of them is a character. 🥰

Fill out an adoption application on our website (www.thatsmykitty.org) then schedule an appointment to meet them!

Want to help in person? We have volunteer opportunities with flexible schedules, and we’d appreciate the help so much. Send us a message!

Enjoying a little butterfly moment while out trying to trap a sweet (but nervous!) kitty. 🦋🐈

If you’ve been thinking about adopting, we have wonderful cats looking for homes, including a couple of bonded pairs we’d love to see stay together. Two is better than one! 💕

Our adoption fee is $125. Our adoptable kitties are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and socialized as much as they’ll allow! We have quite the characters around here!

Please fill out an adoption application on our website first, then message us here or email us to arrange a visit!

We could also really use cat food right now: dry food, wet food, soups, meat baby food, kitten formula, and probiotics. Food is one of our biggest expenses, and every bit helps. We’re happy to arrange donation pickup or drop-off.

Thank y’all for continuing to support these kitties. ❤️

Graceful? Not exactly. Determined to get her help? Absolutely. 🥴🐾

This BARC survivor has always been VERY feral with me. When I found her sick and barely moving on my catio, she still had enough fight left to try to bite and scratch. Getting her safely into a recovery enclosure in the kittenry was… well, you can see for yourself. 😅

After fluids, antibiotics, and some recovery time, she’s (almost) completely recovered—and she’s letting me PET HER (within reason). 🥹❤️

Looking back, she may not have been thriving in the cattery around the more dominant personalities. Being sick, scared, or overwhelmed can affect how an animal responds to us. When we assume “that’s just how she is,” we can miss what a different environment might reveal.

Always keep an open mind. Sometimes they still have a whole other side to show us. 💕

And please use proper protection when handling frightened animals—appropriate protective gloves, safe equipment, and another set of experienced hands whenever possible. Help isn’t always available with what I do, but bites and scratches happen fast. This is an honest glimpse of rescue, not a handling tutorial. It isn’t always smooth, and it definitely isn’t always graceful.

This isn’t our video, but it could be our story. 💔

Small rescues are often overlooked, but we are out here every single day—boots on the ground, answering calls, feeding babies, providing medical care, trapping community cats, cleaning, driving, losing sleep and pouring our own money, blood, sweat and tears into animals who have nowhere else to go.

As end-of-year giving approaches, please remember your small local rescues. Every donation—whether it’s $5, a case of food, paper towels, medical supplies or items you were planning to take to Goodwill—makes a real and immediate difference.

That’s My Kitty is a registered 501(c)(3), and monetary donations are tax-deductible. We can provide donation receipts upon request.

To every person who has donated, shared a post, followed our journey, volunteered or simply encouraged us: thank you. We are deeply grateful for every bit of support. We may be small, but with your help, the difference we make is anything but. 🐾❤️

Please don’t forget the little rescues doing the work day in and day out.

And finally, if people in your community are stepping up to address the animal overpopulation crisis, please support them. If you have questions or concerns, reach out—learn more about their efforts and ask how you can help. There is always a way to make a difference, and I promise your support will be deeply appreciated.

UPDATE: HUGE thank you to a donor who just paid for our website for the whole year. We are so very grateful for the support. We will leave this fundraiser up for anyone who would like to contribute to the care of all the cats and kittens at That's My Kitty. We couldn't do what we do without you, thank you!

🚨 OUR WEBSITE IS TEMPORARILY DOWN — AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾

We want to be completely transparent with our supporters. ❤️

Right now, funds are extremely tight. When we had to choose between paying for our website or using those funds for cat food, litter, and keeping the lights and utilities on, there really wasn’t a choice. The cats come first. 🐱❤️

So for the moment, our website is temporarily offline.

We have dozens of cats and kittens depending on us every single day, and every dollar we receive has to stretch as far as possible to provide food, litter, medical care, vaccines, spay/neuter and a safe place for them to stay.

But we could really use your help getting our website back up — and, more importantly, helping us keep up with the everyday expenses of caring for all of these cats.

💙 If you can donate, even $5 or $10 makes a difference.
💙 If you can't donate, please share this post.
💙 And if you've ever wanted to help but weren't sure how, this is a great time to jump in!

We may have to make some tough choices right now, but we refuse to let the cats pay the price. They didn't choose to be abandoned, homeless or forgotten. We chose to stand up for them. 🐾

Thank you for continuing to stand with That's My Kitty Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. ❤️

Every share, every donation, and every bit of support helps us keep going.

🐾 The cats come first. Always. 🐾
