Thank you for the incredible response! This Cozy Paint Night is officially sold out.

Participants will unwind and let their creativity flow while painting the charming “Cozy Cabin” scene. The evening includes good company, light refreshments, and all supplies provided. Suitable for ages 16 and up.

Cottonwood Heights City is looking for a couple more arts and crafts vendors for the Christmas Market at Light the Heights!

Monday, December 1, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at City Hall (2277 East Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights)

It's free to be a vendor for this event!
Vendor Space Includes:
One 5’ x 2’ table and chairs
Assigned space of approximately 8' x 8'

Creepy, crawly, and oh-so-creative! Our Special Effects Makeup Workshop turned Cottonwood Heights City Hall into a full-on monster lab last week. 💀

Students learned how to create bruises, burns, scars, and zombie-worthy effects under the guidance of SFX pro Aspen Raine and the Arts Council's own member Michelle Muirbrook, a former moulage specialist with the Salt Lake County Health Department— and the results were equal parts gross and amazing!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable night of spooky fun and creativity.

Supported by the Cottonwood Heights Arts Council, Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks, and the Utah Division of Arts & Museums. Thanks Christopher Steck for being a great model for the moulage demonstration!
