Friends of the Cottonport Museum greatly appreciate the work being done by the Womens Commision.

Pack up the picnic basket, bring the family and enjoy the relaxing spots at the Veterans’ Memorial / The Cross area on the banks of Bayou Rouge... this is phase one of upgrading the area.

The Mayor’s Commission for Women was the beneficiary of funds from a former citizen of the town of Cottonport, Larry Brown. Mr Brown requested the money be used to improve the memorial area....

We look forward to move improvements to the area...
