On this last day of LifeWise, we played Bible bingo with candy, presented Character Quality Awards to each student, thought up creative ways to pop balloons, gifted Bibles for the summer, won lots of memorable prizes, said heartfelt goodbyes to our fifth grade graduates, and clapped them out to the big red bus.

Here at LifeWise, we love Jesus and it shows! 💗

The first annual Evening of Impact Event for LifeWise South Washington County was oh so sweet... right down to the Bundt cakes! Thank you to Program Director Miriam Williams who organized this event. Thank you to the five Leadership Board members Steve, Rhonda, Brenda, Jaime and Vicki who pulled many of the people and details together. Thank you to the many supporters who attended this event. Thank you to those who give financially and prayerfully in and through your time, resources and circles of influence. Thank you to this year's event food sponsors - Chick-Fil-A, Jimmy Johns, Lunds & Byerly's and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Thank you to all who support LifeWise from the classroom, church and home so as to allow us to continue bringing Bible education to public school children DURING SCHOOL HOURS now and into the future!

The local program here in South Washington County will celebrate its first full year of programming this June, and when we think back on how it all started in 2024 with just 50 signatures, a six-person steering committee and a dream plan drafted on faith, hope and love, we stand back in awe and reverence over God's mighty hand.

Our prayer is that every student in South Washington County would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, that they would know the love of the Father, that their families will forever be changed by the hope of Jesus, and that this hope will grow out into the greater Twin Cities area and beyond.

We have been saying thank you to the teachers and staff at our four schools this week. We appreciate them for sharing their students with us and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve them through LifeWise Academy! Our Bible-based character education program aims to instill traits such as kindness, patience and courage. We hope their summer will be richly blessed with health, joy and peace.

On the last day of class, students were sent home with lots of goodies including this fun Bible-based summer VBS schedule. We hope our students will be in the Word this summer, and VBS is the perfect way to keep the Bible at the tips of young fingers and bring the story of Jesus to life! There are so many great churches for families to get connected, and we encourage them to check out their local VBS.

We finished up year one right on schedule for end-of-the-year parties this week! We are learning about the character quality of MERCY through the story of the bronze snake (Number 20:1-20, 21:4-9).

The Israelites faced a huge problem because of their sin. God sent snakes to punish Israel, but anyone who was bitten could look at the snake on the pole and live. Because of our sin, we face a huge problem: We are separated from God. Anyone who looks to Jesus on the cross and trusts in Him will live forever with God.
