Our purpose is to help residents of South Lane County remain fed, housed, and safe while they work towards self-sufficiency.

Our rent assistance waitlist will be opening on Monday, June 1st, at 1:30 pm. We have some extra funds available this month and we are not limited to any particular group with these extra funds (i.e. over 58 in HH, children in HH, etc.). Folks can get on this waitlist by calling 541-942-2176 or by coming in at 1440 Birch Avenue. This is a great opportunity for households who have not receive assistance in the last year!

Great Western Pub, Sports Bar & Grill hosted a food drive and fundraiser for Community Sharing!

They collected over 207 pounds of food and raised $1,110. Thanks to everyone who donated or helped! We cannot do it without the support from community and businesses.

More showers! Community Sharing is changing the shower trailer schedule to add an additional day per week. Showers will now be available on TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS from 11am to 3pm. This starts next Tuesday April 14th.

ENERGY WAITLIST
The energy waitlist will be opening tomorrow, April 1st (no joke). We will be open from 11am to 3:30pm, call 541-942-2176 or come to our office at 1440 Birch Avenue to sign up. We are at the end of the energy season so this will likely be the last opportunity to get on this list. This also means we may or may not be able to serve everyone who gets on the waitlist. If you are already on the list and haven't turned in your application, this also may be your last opportunity to get assistance.

The two shower trailer is back at Community Sharing! Starting tomorrow, showers will be available on Wednesday's again from 11AM to 3PM.

We are still looking for volunteers to operate the shower trailer in the hope of adding a second day of the week. Anyone interested can call Mike Fleck at 541-942-2176 ext. 6. THANKS!

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?:
The weather forecast has predicted that temperatures will drop to 29 degrees Fahrenheit or below on Thursday night, February 19th, Community Sharing Warming Shelter will activate to provide shelter from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Thursday night through the following morning, Friday the 20th.
AND
The weather forecast has NOT predicted that temperatures will drop to 29 degrees Fahrenheit or below on Friday night, February 20th, Community Sharing Warming Shelter will NOT activate to provide shelter Friday night.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS
