It’s not only the threat of being a crime victim that should motivate you own and master a firearm. In our immediate area of training, Southern California, there are numerous mountain lions. Moreover Orange Countians have been not only attacked but killed by these powerful predators.

One of the more infamous mountain lion attacks in Orange County, CA was is referred to the Whiting Ranch Attack on January 10, 2004. A juvenile male killed a male adult mountain biker (probably while bent over attempting to repair is bike). After killing the adult male the mountain lion attacked an adult female. The adult female’s friend began to try to pull her friend away from the lion, who had latched onto her face. Finally more persons arrived at the scene of the attack and the lion released the female. The lion stayed close to the adult male he had killed, and the lion was shot and killed by OCSD Deputies later that evening.

There have several incidents and attacks by mountain lions in South Orange County, CA. TEN-X Fi****ms Training recommends that you learn how to responsibility own and use a firearm for your own protection and protection of others.

Tactical carbine class to be held at private gun in San Bernardino, CA in June. You will need to provide your own tactical carbine, 500 rounds of .223 or 5.56 NATO Ammunition. M855 is acceptable for paper targets but not steel targets. So you will need M193 Ball for steel target engagement. DM is you are interested.

Four CCW Certification spots are still open. This class is for Orange County, CA residents seeking their CCW permits. This class satisfies the firearm training requirement set forth by the Sheriff. The class is 14 hours, two days at Prado Olympic Shooting Range. 8:00 am to 3:30 pm March 24th and 25th, 2023.
