🏡 The Neighboring Pledge may have started September 28—but it’s just getting started!

🩵 The invitation is still open, Costa Mesa.

🫶🏼 Being a good neighbor doesn’t have to be complicated. It can look like:

❤️ CARE — Show up when someone needs it.

🙌🏼 Paularino Elementary had their first CAFE last week with parents, school staff, nonprofits, the faith community, and even a School Board member coming together to brainstorm how we can leverage our collective assets to remove barriers to all Paularino students reaching their potential.

🏫 There was so much excitement around projects we could do together this school year around encouraging increased attendance!

🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 Neighbors helping neighbors. That’s what Labors of Love is all about.

🌿 Kathy needs a little extra help caring for her home right now, so we’re gathering a team to trim back her overgrown front hedge, haul away the debris, and, if we have enough helping hands, tackle some weeding too!

🩵 It may seem like a simple project, but for a neighbor who can’t take care of it on her own right now, it can make a big difference.

❤️ Come spend a few hours working alongside your neighbors, lending a hand, and showing Kathy that her community cares.

🌱 Hedge trimming, cleanup + weeding if time allows
🙌 No better way to love your city than by loving your neighbor!
