Congratulations to Mesa Verde‘s very own. Jake Knapp. Jake won his first PGA tour event this afternoon with a 19 under par finish at the Mexico open in Puerto Vallarta. Jake was on fire on Saturday carding a Front nine score of 28 and finishing the third round with a 63 giving him a 4 shot lead going into the final round. While Jake admitted to not having his best stuff on Sunday, he put on a short game clinic, making a number of very impressive up-and-downs to grind out the victory. Congratulations to Jake and the entire Knapp family for this amazing accomplishment.
