September is National Recovery Month. 💜

Sometimes, when you’re in the middle of it, you can’t see how you’re going to get there. You can’t imagine feeling differently, living differently, or believing in yourself again.

We know how hard that first step can be — and how much courage it takes to keep taking the next one.

At The Lynn House, we meet women where they are, without judgment, and walk alongside them as they find their way forward.

Because recovery is real. Women do recover. And the life you can’t quite imagine yet may be waiting for you.

If you or someone you love needs a safe place to begin, we’re here.

Celebrating Alora 🤍✨

There are some women who remind us exactly why the work we do matters. Alora is one of them.

Watching her journey in sobriety has been incredibly inspiring. She is pursuing her own dreams and goals while using her experience to encourage and support other women in recovery.

From embracing new adventures and finding joy in everyday life, to building The Confidence Collective and creating a space where women can grow in confidence and connection, Alora is showing what life in recovery can truly look like.

Recovery is about so much more than getting sober. It’s about discovering yourself, finding your confidence, dreaming again, and building a life you genuinely love.

We are so proud to watch Alora step into her life with courage, gratitude, and purpose—and even more proud to see her turn around and pour that hope into other women.

Alora, we’re cheering you on and celebrating all that you’re becoming. Keep dreaming, keep growing, and keep sharing your light. 🫶✨

It’s the little things that make a house feel like home. 🤍

A favorite chair. A familiar pillow. A quiet morning. The simple routines that become part of a new life in sobriety.
At The Lynn House, women have the space to build those routines, find their footing, and discover what life in recovery can look like—one day at a time.

Volunteer Spotlight 💛

This month, we’re honored to spotlight one of our incredible volunteers, Kenzie.

Kenzie, thank you for sharing your time, your heart, and your compassion with the women at The Lynn House. We are so grateful for the kindness, encouragement, and hope you bring to our community. Volunteers like you remind us that even the smallest acts of generosity can make a lasting impact.

We asked Kenzie to share a little about what inspired her to volunteer, what this experience has meant to her, and what she would say to someone considering volunteering themselves. Here’s what she had to say.

The Lynn House gave me guidance, love, and support during one of the lowest times in my life. Being able to come back and show women what life can be when we support one another and heal together is truly a gift.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞?
One of the most meaningful experiences at Lynn house is working with others and seeing women you invest time and energy in, take that opportunity to grow and elevate their lives.

If you love working with others and helping them find their purpose by being the positive influence they may have never had, then volunteering at The Lynn house is exactly where you should start. Inspire people to be the best versions of themselves by being an example!

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can offer another person isn’t an answer.

It’s knowing they don’t have to face tomorrow alone.

Lasting sobriety isn’t built in isolation. It grows through connection, encouragement, accountability, and the courage to keep showing up—together.

That’s what The Lynn House is all about.

A safe home where women find community, rebuild confidence, and begin creating lives they never thought were possible. 💛

Space to think clearly.

Space to trust yourself again.

Space to imagine a future that once felt impossible.

Recovery isn’t just about leaving something behind—it’s about making room for hope, healing, and a life you never thought was possible.

At The Lynn House, women find a safe place to begin again, surrounded by support, community, and hope.

You don’t have to do it alone. 🧡
