Mom and I attended the Community Fund Ohio Innovative Challenge today. It was wonderful to see all the work and heart that goes into the amazing programs they support and offer. ❤️

We made a little family trip of it, too! Danny enjoyed the hotel pool with Bella, and we rounded out the day with a candy store stop and Italian food. Just a really great day for our little family! 🥰

🐑❤️ Everyone, meet Johnny! ❤️🐑

One of our friends, Halle, fell head over heels for her market sheep and was heartbroken at the thought of him going to slaughter.

Luckily, Halle’s boss came to the rescue and was able to win Johnny at the auction! And now, Johnny has a new home here at Slater Family Farm! 🥰

We have to say, he is definitely the fanciest sheep we’ve ever had around here! 😂🐑

For now, Johnny will get to enjoy some well deserved rest, relaxation, and lots of love before we slowly introduce him to our programs.

🍎 We’re excited to be setting up at Historic Roscoe Village’s 55th Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival, October 16–18!

This year’s festival has been selected as an America 250 Ohio Featured Event for October’s “Ohio Grows: Food & Farms” theme a special celebration of our community’s agricultural roots! 🌾

🛻🔧Not the best start to fair week 😭 thank you so much to Prince's Wrecker Service for getting our truck and trailer back home so we can try to fix it! So glad it broke down AFTER we got the animals to fair 🙏
