I am writing this post in enthusiastic support of the Coshocton Fresh grocery store project, proposed by David Martin and Marlow Investment Group at 1148 Walnut Street in Coshocton, Ohio.
Coshocton Fresh represents a much-needed solution for our community, especially for residents in the northeast section of town, which has long been considered a food desert. Many individuals and families in our area lack access to affordable, nutritious groceries. They must travel long distances or rely on convenience stores that do not meet their dietary or health needs. The opening of a full-service grocery store in this neighborhood will provide a critical lifeline to healthier food options, improve quality of life, and promote equity in our local food system.
Beyond food access, this project will create local jobs, stimulate neighborhood revitalization, and serve as a community anchor. Mr. Martinโs vision for Coshocton Fresh includes not only fresh produce and pantry staples, but also connections to local farmers, small businesses, and even wellness programming. His leadership, community focus, and existing investment in the property give me confidence in the success and sustainability of this project.
I wholeheartedly support Coshocton Fresh and urge funders, grantmakers, and community development organizations to do the same. This initiative has the potential to make a lasting and positive impact on our city. Residents who are in support of this project, please comment, like, and share this post. If anyone has any questions or would like to discuss my support further, I would be happy to speak with you directly. 740 202 2582
