Ohio University Athens is offering a five-day journalism workshop this summer for rising sophomores through recent graduates. The workshop will cover several types of writing including sports writing and broadcasting and podcasting. Deadline to register is June 19.

The E.W. Scripps School of Journalism’s annual workshop for high school journalism students and advisers started in 1946 and is one of the oldest programs in the nation.

The Ridgewood 6th Grade class recently participated in a Career Exploration Day. Many thanks to Claxon Sports, Coshocton Soil and Water Conservation, West Lafayette Fire Department, West Lafayette EMS, Ridgewood Resource Officer Rossiter, and Coshocton County Sheriff K9 Unit for sharing your professions with our students. It was a great opportunity for them.
