Coshocton Art Guild

Coshocton Art Guild The Coshocton Art Guild is dedicated to cultivating local artists in Coshocton County and the surrounding areas. Creativity has always driven innovation.

We are also committed to developing and using artistic knowledge and skills to cultivate positive change in our community. CREATIVITY
The Coshocton art guild's goal is to engage the imagination and encourage creative exploration. We believe that artists and creative people are built to push boundaries and look at problems from different perspectives, take risks, and drive positive change. Artists

are innovative by nature and design activities and programs that help our community create and initiate change. FLEXIBILITY
Flexibility is the the ability of a system or organization to respond to, or recover quickly from, a crisis or distracting process. To bounce back and to continue on towards the goal. The CAG gives everyone, young and old, a chance to explore their talents. We want to provide an environment that encourages people to take chances. If we make mistakes we turn them into opportunities. To bring about change and to prosper.

IMPARTIALITY
The CAG wants to make the arts available to everyone. We know our community has a distinct mix of people. We believe these differences are an asset. We work hard to bridge the gaps in our community and sponsor programs and workshops that help bring the arts to everyone, not just artists. COOPERATION
The CAG intentionally creates an environment where anyone and everyone can feel accepted and connected no matter who they are or where they come from. We believe in connecting people with different abilities and backgrounds because together we can build stronger communities. METAMORPHOSIS
We focus on recognizing the traditions of yesterday while embracing today and subscribing to the future. There are unbelievable opportunities at the crossroads of tradition and technology. The Coshocton Art Guild wants to see them with you. The creative process transforms people, art changes lives!

EMPOWERMENT
We believe artists and creative-type people are well positioned to join the new wave of cottage industry and entrepreneurship. Creating compelling new opportunities for creative people to make a living. The Coshocton Art Guild is dedicated to cultivating local artists in Coshocton County and the surrounding areas and connecting them to the community. We do that by sponsoring instructional workshops, art competitions and art shows in the community. If you are an artist in Coshocton, Guernsey, Tuscarawas, Holmes, Knox, Licking, or Muskingum counties you might want to check us out. We have members from all of those places as well as Stark County, Noble County and Perry Counties. We aren't about location... we are about artists and art.
