Dear Cosby Community and Visitors,

Some of us are still recuperating but all of us have full hearts!

This festival is a labor of love…from the hours and hours of planning on the Cosby Community Alliance’s part; to the many volunteers’ willing hands setting up, running stations, and tearing down; and to the businesses and individuals sponsoring and donating to the festival…each heart must love this community to be involved in making it happen each year. Thank you to each and every one! The festival only runs because of each of YOU!

🍉 THANK YOU 🍉

We love the joy we see in the crowd while getting to visit with neighbors we typically only wave to from afar. There’s something about a community gathering that just feels right. Seeing you all enjoy the festival makes all the exhaustion (and sunburn) worth it!

Drop your photos below! We would love to see the festival from your perspective!

Love,
Cosby Community Alliance

Are you excited yet?! It's almost time for the
🍉 2026 Cosby Watermelon Festival 🍉

All the details are below. As always, the event is FREE! We will have plenty of whole watermelons and watermelon slices for sale, concessions to purchase food from, 2026 t-shirts for sale, and $5 wristbands for the kids activities. Thank you to all of our sponsors for allowing us to reduce the cost of the kids wristbands again this year!

Edit to add: There will not be a pie contest this year. In its place, we have received some pies to auction from some generous local bakeries!

08/23/2026

We still have some vendor spots open if anyone wants to join the fun last minute!
