Become a Dementia Friend! Designed for anyone who wants to understand what dementia is and how it affects families. Attend the session to learn about this worldwide movement, living with dementia, the simple things you can do to support someone living with dementia, and how to reduce the stigma of dementia. This program will be presented by Jamie Fried with LifeSpan Resources.

Library staff recently installed the August book, "When a Tree Falls" by Kirsten Kendreigh and Elke Boschinger. It tells the story of the forest's life cycle.

Although the flash flood we experienced this week was a rare occurrence for most of us, photos of past floods over the years remind us this was not the first time Indian Creek has left its banks – and likely won’t be the last.
