After a lot of prayer and conversation, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Purpose Film & Media Conference.
Recently, Tyler stepped down from his role as Lead Pastor and moved into a role as an elder, and in this season, our team feels called to give our full attention to the health of our church and congregation during this time of transition. Because of that, we didn’t feel it would be right to move forward unless we could give the conference the level of focus and excellence it deserves.
We believe deeply in what Purpose is and what it represents, which is why this decision was not made lightly.
All registrations, film submissions, sponsorships, and vendor payments will be fully refunded. We are actively working on that now!
While the conference is not moving forward this year, Purpose Film Academy will continue, and we’re excited about what’s ahead there. Additionally, our team has been hard at work building a standalone app that accompanies the Academy. The app will launch, in the coming months, and gives the user lessons, among many other resources, to master your craft with purpose while learning professional skills across filmmaking, business, theology, and more!
