That’s a wrap! Today was the last day of 11 weeks of Summer Camp. We had so much fun making tacos, climbing trees, riding bikes, making art, and exploring nature. We had such a fun bunch of campers and many summer memories were made.

Thank you Tastebud for bringing the yummiest pizza down from Portland for the kids in our Pizza Pie camp to sample! Campers were able to taste 5 different flavors of pizza made with local ingredients, including a pesto pizza, vegan pizza, and PEACHzza. Campers were able to vote for their favorite pizza (cheese). Inspired by the creative ingredients, they made yummy and unique pizzas for their families in our cob oven the next day!

NaturePlay Preschool is now enrolling for the 2026–2027 school year!

Our program is centered around child-led learning, giving children the time and space to follow their interests, ask questions, solve problems, and develop confidence and independence through play.

At NaturePlay, children ages 3–5 have opportunities to:

• Explore and learn in nature
• Follow their curiosity and interests
• Develop social-emotional and problem-solving skills
• Build confidence and independence
• Engage in hands-on, play-based learning
• Develop a meaningful connection with the natural world

We’re hiring a Nature Programs Educator to join the CEC team this school year!

We’re looking for someone who loves working with kids, feels confident leading a group, is curious about the natural world, and brings creativity and enthusiasm into the role.

Part Time: 15-20 hrs per week
$18-18.75/hr DOE
Weekday afternoons during the school year, with opportunities to continue FT into the summer.
