Corvallis Nativity Festival A community event celebrating the glorious birth of Jesus Christ through the display of nativity scenes, music, and a puppet theater.

Food Drive Collection- Non perishable food items are being collected at ALL Light The World Corvallis events. The service project open house and the community concerts are great times to bring a food donation that will be delivered to Benton County Food Share. There are so many ways to serve! Please share a canned food item that will directly help serve our community!

There will be 2 musical performances the weekend of Light the World. Saturday evening (12/2 @ 6pm) and Sunday afternoon (12/3 @ 1pm). Come listen to community choirs and stay for a cookie mingle!

The Service Open House at Light the World is a great way to kick off your Christmas season by volunteering your time to great causes. Saturday, December 2, 1:00 - 3:00!

We have 5 projects for you to choose from!
1. Food Drive - bring canned or boxed food items to be donated to the South Corvallis Food Bank
2. Care Kits - assemble kits with hygiene and basic first aid items to be donated to Unity Shelter, Room at the Inn, CARDV and Jackson Street Youth Center
3. Toy Car Making - sand and oil wooden cars to be donated across the world (some will stay local) https://tinytimstoys.org/
4. Sensory Kits - assemble kits with anxiety/stress items to be used in therapy for those staying at the Children's Farm Home
5. Card Making - create cards and write notes of encouragement to be sent in all of our kits (extras given to local care facilities and veterans)

Have you ever heard of a "Giving Machine" before? Check out this news story about one of these machines in Kansas City, MO. We are doing a Giving Machine event here in Corvallis at the Light The World event on December 9-11, 2022. Keep an eye on this page for the local and worldwide charities our giving machine will benefit!

The machine raised more than $300,000 in 2021.
