I am sharing this opportunity below from Susan at the Linn-Benton Food Share. It's a healthy and fun way to spend your Sunday morning. Come on out and help if you can,
We are looking for volunteers to help with the Annual Corvallis Half Marathon:

this Sunday April 15th from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Volunteers will help cheer and direct runners along the race route in Corvallis. Volunteers will receive a Marathon tee-shirt.

I am looking for up to ten more volunteers. Linn Benton Food Share is a main beneficiary of this event and we have been asked to participate with volunteers. If people are interested they can email me

and I will send information about where we are meeting to pick up the tee shirt and a station assignment.

We had such a great time last night helping out and packing boxes of larabars and oats at the Linn-Benton Food Share. A big thanks to Susan for welcoming us and sharing what they do 👍📦 From this warehouse the food goes to 68 different organizations throughout the counties and helps those who need it.

We exceeded our goal of 100 cans to donate to the Corvallis Welcome Center! Thank you to everyone who donated and came out to support us on Wednesday, it was a great event. A big thank you to Chris Hawkins for sharing more about what the center does. If you have questions or want more information on how to help in the future, we can point you in her direction.

A BIG Thank You to Sky High Brewing & Pub for hosting our Rotary Community Corps event this evening for our Canned Food Drive! See everyone there with your donations from 5-7pm for some networking and giving back to the Corvallis Community!

Sky High Brewing has a passion for brewing local, world-class craft beer. Brewing on a 10 barrel JV Northwest system, we deliver our kegs around town on a cargo bicycle. Combining quality ingredients with highly skilled fermentation, cellar and draught practices, we pour spectacular ales and lagers.

Food Drive Update: Not just caned goods but all kinds of non perishable items and snacks are welcome to bring for our upcoming food drive. Spread the word and tell your friends, our food drive event next week will help the weekend backpack program for the Corvallis School District Welcome Center. Join us at Sky High from 5-7pm-ish, Wednesday Jan 31!
