This summer, creativity takes center stage.

Whether your young artist loves painting, photography, upcycled fashion, drawing, paper-making, or discovering a brand-new creative passion, there's a place for them at The Arts Center this summer.

With camps for both youth and teens, Summer Arts Adventures offers hands-on experiences led by professional teaching artists in a welcoming, creative environment.

Teens can dive deeper, build skills, develop their artistic voice, and connect with other creative people their age.

Younger artists can explore new materials, build confidence, and discover the joy of creating.

No matter where they are on their artistic journey, they'll find opportunities to learn, make, and grow.

Meet June’s ArtShop Featured Artist: Rhoda Fleischman ✨

For Rhoda Fleischman, working with clay has always felt natural. As a child, she made small clay pots and left them in the sun to bake, already imagining a future shaped by creativity and making.

Today, Rhoda continues exploring the endless possibilities of clay while also embracing painting as another creative outlet. Describing the process as β€œmagic conjuring up images seemingly from the air,” her work reflects a lifelong curiosity, imagination, and joy for creating by hand.

Rhoda’s work carries a sense of warmth, exploration, and personal storytelling that invites viewers to slow down and connect with the handmade process behind each piece.

Stop by the ArtShop to explore Rhoda’s work alongside handcrafted creations by local artists and makers from across our region.
