Thanks to everyone who came to our Kitten Shower! 🐱🚿💕

It was so great to talk to all of you about fostering, kitten season, adopting, and Heartland in general!

Three kittens left to their new homes today and eight received applications and went on hold. We are so happy for them and their new families! ❤️🏡

Thanks to our community once again, we couldn’t help kittens like these, and the many other pets that come through our doors, without you 🫶

Dan and Olive are here to end your Foster Friday! 🤎🫒

🤎 Dan is a cuddly and affectionate boy who absolutely loves his people. He’s down for any adventure you can think of and loves going to the beach. He does well with being left home by himself and is full house-trained. He would do best in a home without any small critters and a yard where he can soak up the sun.

🫒 Olive is a sweet girl who needs some time to come out her shell. But once she does you’ll get to have the wonderful experience of watching her gaining confidence in her surroundings and herself. Her favorite thing in the world is getting chin scratches from her trusted companions and will happily lay on your chest if you let her. Give her time and love and you will be rewarded with the sweetest companion.

The shelter with be CLOSED Saturday, June 20th for our annual Kitten Shower! We invite you all to come join us for a fun day of kittens, learning, giving and fun! 🥰🐱💕

Just like a baby shower welcomes new babies, a kitten shower helps shelters welcome and care for vulnerable kittens. During this time of year we often have over 100 kittens in our care at any given time. So this event is all about helping those kittens! So come join us!
