Did your cat or dog have an oopsie litter of babies? Give us a call and we will get you signed up for the Single Mama Special!

How it works: For $80 (cats) or $100 (dogs), we will spay, vaccinate and microchip your mama and handle all of the medical care for her babies. You'll act as a temporary foster home for mama and babies, while YVAS provides bi-weekly check-ups & vaccinations for the babies. Once they reach eight weeks of age, you will bring everyone into the shelter to be spayed/neutered. We'll find loving homes for the kittens or puppies and mom goes back home with you.

We can also neuter dad too!

For more details on this program, give us a call at 406-294-7387 or visit our website: https://yvas.org/community-resources/single-mama-special/

Please Note: Fox Hollow does not spay and neuter dogs or puppies regularly. Our focus is on feral and owned cats in Ravalli County. When we are able and specific shelters are in need, we do what we can for them to help get dogs/puppies adopted.

Fox Hollow was able to spay and neuter this family of mama and puppies, helping to get them adopted from Pintler Pets In Anaconda. Mama is a cattle dog, healer, Australian Shepherd type of mix. The Dad(s) are anyone's guess. Contact Pintler Pets in Anaconda if you have are interested.

Phyllis and Carrie made the trip from Anaconda, taking advantage of the gorgeous weather we've been having, to bring a mama (Patty)and her six puppies (4 boys and 2 girls) to be spayed and neutered. Patti and her puppies are all adoptable from Pintler Pets.

Thank you to putting these cats to work keeping the rodent population down in a barn!!

Thank you to all of you who shared these cats need for a job!

3 feral cat brothers ready to go to work on the mice in your barn! These 3 cats look exactly alike. They are neutered, about 1 year old, healthy, great-big, vaccinated, ear tipped, and, just in case you didn't believe me about mousing, all had tape worms! They are at Fox Hollow ready to go. The person who was taking them backed out and left me with 3 feral boys needing a barn soon!!!!!

Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, these 4 kittens will be ready to go to their forever home. They were born in a barn on 10-10-2025. At 5 weeks they moved to a foster home to become respectfully socialized. At that time they were vaccinated and wormed. Today they were sterilized and vaccinated again. There are 3 girls and 1 boy. Sunday they can be picked up. If you are interested in adopting, you may call the foster mom, Julie, 303-947-5732.
Please check this page periodically. When the kittens are all adopted it will be noted on this page so that the foster mom does not continue to receive calls. Thank you.

What is the best way to spend cash rewards from our credit card and thank our fabulous team of volunteers? A party of course. Where's the best place to gather and enjoy great company, good food and amazing surroundings? Nothing like Whiskey Gulch!

Thanks to Patti Prato, not only for being one of our fabulous volunteer veterinarians, but for supplying the amazing venue for our volunteer appreciation party.

We can never say thank you enough to the people that keep Fox Hollow going on a regular basis. There really is no way to do what we do without them. Too many to name, but I hope they know how appreciated they are.
