🌟Permanent Location🌟

1535 SE Bethel St, through the iron fence on the right side of the driveway🐍

After a couple fun events out in the community, we’re excited to share the location of our permanent Corvallis Rock Snake Rock Garden!

This is where the public can visit, contribute, or purchase pieces from our rock snake by donation! Every rock collected during our community events will be moved here, and all funds collected will be donated to different charities in the area!

The first local cause we’ll be supporting is the Old Mill Center for Children and Families who provide amazing resources to new parents and a wonderful education program to those with special needs alongside typically developing peers.

All donations we’ll be based on the honor system. You can donate directly through their website, or we have a lock-secured cash drop box on site where donations can be left.

Thank you to everyone who wants to help us help the community!🌟🐍

If you haven’t stopped by our event at the Old Mill Center for Children and Families, there’s still time! On November 1st all of the rocks collected during our time here will be added to our Corvallis Rock Garden in south Corvallis. The location is to be released in early November! We’re looking forward to having a place where you can view the rocks we’ve received, and if you’d like to take one home, we’ll have a place for donations to be made! All donations will be given to local causes in the Corvallis area🤗

🌟Help us help the community, and get creative!

🐍Hi there! I’m your local rock snake, here to say hello and introduce myself!🐍

Started in the summer of 2021, the Corvallis Rock Snake was created as an offshoot project inspired by the official Corvallis Rocks Facebook group. If you’re unfamiliar with painted rocks (or kindness rocks), they’re simply rocks painted by anyone, sometimes featuring positive quotes, little paintings, etc, that are then hidden or left around town to be found by a passerby later on.

The Corvallis Rock Snake will travel around town, staying at each location for about a month. We invite you to line your painted rocks up with others’ to create a long snake during these events! After the event, all of the rock snake rocks will then slither home, kept in our cumulative Corvallis Rock Garden to be sold (by donation) to raise money for different local causes! The location of the garden will be made public at the end of this month!🎃

For the rest of October, the Corvallis Rock Snake can be found at the Old Mill Center for Children and Families📚
