Trillium's Children's Farm Home Therapeutic Horse Program

Trillium's Children's Farm Home Therapeutic Horse Program Horses and Caring Staff Working to Make a Difference in the Lives of Children. Read our description, call or email to learn more.

We offer sessions to Outpatient clients, Residential clients and the general public. We offer several programs to youth in the community to assist them in learning and practicing skills to build a brighter future. Our Outpatient Program:
We offer individual and family skills training to youth by referral from their county care coordinator or therapist. These are two hour, weekly sessions that focu

s on building life skills. We offer a Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Horses Group to outpatient clients. This was previously only offered to residential clients. This is an interactive, fun way to learn and practice DBT skills. What better way to practice emotion regulation, cheer leading statements, increasing positive emotions, and wise mind than with knowledgeable staff and friendly, quiet animals. Our Residential Program:
We offer Work Experience Groups, Therapeutic Horse Groups and Vocational Experience Groups to clients in each cottage on the Children's Farm Home Campus. Our focus is on the development of life skills. We also offer a Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Horses Class to residential clients each week. Please call or email for more information or to get a youth involved:
