🐝 Welcome to the Michigan Honey Festival! 🍯
We’re all about bees, honey, & communityβ€”bringing people together to learn, taste, explore, & celebrate all things sweet and buzzy! Not only are the honeybees in peril, so are all our pollinators. Yet, with all the talk about pesticides, additives, global warming, etc. there are things that you and I can do to help our insects to survive. We will keep ex

panding our resources and help to educate the public on these newest measures that can be done with very little investment or land.

🐝 Little hands. Big discoveries. πŸ’›

One of the best parts of the Michigan Honey Festival is seeing children learn, explore, and experience the amazing world of bees.

The Kids Table is a place where curiosity can grow, questions can be asked, and future bee lovers can be inspired.

A special thank you to the Owosso Bee Club for leading the Kids Table and helping create a fun and engaging experience for our youngest festival visitors. 🍯✨

🐝 Facts From the Hive 🐝

If a honey bee lands near you, try to stay calm and avoid sudden movements.

Honey bees aren't looking to sting people. In fact, yelling, swatting, or making quick movements can make them feel threatened. Most of the time, a bee is simply investigating its surroundings and will fly away on its own.

The next time you meet a curious bee, take a deep breath and let it bee! 🍯
